62 FI Accelerator Lever Ground

Should there be a washer under the screw that attaches the ground strap to the accelerator lever? The AIM shows part # 446161 P.W. between the screw and the ground strap. Perhaps this is a spacer, not a washer.

My car has a washer between the screw and strap. I got a deduct at the regional with a note saying "should not have washer under Gnd Strap screw".

Regional judge should have his knuckles rapped--there is definitely a washer under the screw. Could it be that judge is trying to indicate the washer is incorrect diameter or some other issue with it?

Steve the PW = plain washer. I only show a 446363, 3/8" PW, sure that number is correct? My book on washers is very very limited so the pn may be fine.
The 62 Service Guide calls, Accessories 13-7, for a plain washer.

Not very knowledgeable on 62, however that washer is a constant source of disagreement on C2.

Thanks for the input. I have a "plain washer" of correct size for that screw. I'll see what happens next time I get it judged.
