Rear End Carrier date vs Build Date

Hi Guys,

Can someone tell me an acceptable date range for a rear end carrier in comparison to a build date....

For instance, is a rear that was cast in Oct 66 with a mid Nov 66 assembly date work for a car that was built in mid-late Nov 66? Or should there be a larger gap (maybe a month or two) in between the assembly date of the rear and the build date of the car?

My 67 has a differential date stamp of 3/31 on a body build date of 4/10.

My 67 has a differential date stamp of 3/31 on a body build date of 4/10.

Here's another, off an empty '67 BB carrier I have; Cast D_12_7, assembled AU 5_17_67.
