    Re: Which would you choose?

I can only comment about C-3 tops but Al Knock sells the most correct top for C-3's at this time. There are at least 5 critical areas to check on the top to be sure you are purchasing a correct one. Hopefully some exterior C-2 judges will comment. Also, be sure to call the manufacturer of the top to get the proper date code and label.

      Thank you.
      David,

Ask Al Knoch for the John Kennedy pattern. I think it is a little extra money, but they are supposed fit a little looser like the originals.

If you are going to do it yourself, get the Al Knoch CD.

Also question them about the front windlace correctness. Don't accept one of those big fat preformed ones with the blunt corners. Get the thin one that you have to cut to length, so that it can be tucked under at the corners.

        Thank you for your input.

Great color combo! Not being bias, I vote for white. Good luck with your top.

Having visited the Al Knoch factory (which is close to me), I can say the workers and operation there is top notch and very high quality and attention to detail.

I like the tan also. Although not correct, I installed a tan Al Knoch top on my Marlboro Maroon '67 in 1980 and it still looked good 20 years later when I had to replace it only because of the rear window hazing.

White goes better with Nassau or Marina Blue, like natures white clouds on a blue sky.
