Kirk, Our 1967 300hp, PS, auto and Radio has the ring. I restore some of these and the modification is not that difficult. The aftermarket rings do not look like the original one and do take allot of work. I hope this helps.

Kirk, Nice car, saw it from the outside but did not see it opened up nor you there, but then I had my head under a couple of BB cars as Pete can attest

I know I have one AC shroud but it probably needs to see Scott the shroud doctor as someone had the bright idea to sand blast it. The point is that it shows all the plant drilled holes and slots.

Thanks Scott. I am looking to get the ring from Dr. Rebuild. Maybe I could send it along and get it modified? I some good pics of the type of holes I will need to drill into my current shroud. Thanks.

here are a few photos of a original 66 shroud no air ( paint removed) note the two side pieces have the holes for the nut and bolt and the slots have not been cut also note a factory rivet in the top extension to side section. a photo of an original fan extension, painted

Thanks Craig. Looks like they had to make two "cuts" to each side. The rectangle and then the hole.

Kirk, I was referring to a physical pattern that you can overlay onto the shroud. you can get the dimensions in the assembly manual at UPC C60 sheet B 2.5

when I drilled the 4 corners of the rectangle and cut and filed to the dimensions of the UPC B 2.5 rectangle I did not drill the bolt hole until I matched the fan extension to the shroud so it would be dead on .
