67 AC Fan Shroud Extension - Need AC Guys

Just wondering whether all the rest of you 67 AC car guys have the fan shroud extension in place? Thought my shroud was original for a variety of reasons, but mine does not have the inner lower extension piece in place, nor does the shroud even have the holes to mount it drilled.

Let's take a 67 AC car survey here. Got the fan shroud extension or not?

Both of the bolt holes and U-nut rectangular holes and the six slots in the shroud shown in section C60, sheet B2.5 to attach the fan ring were added to the standard shroud at St. Louis as an off-line rework operation.

Kirk - Nice car. It was good to see you and car at the National Convention.

Our base motor 67 w/C60 has the Fan Shroud Ring per C60, B2.5 as John mentioned.

Mine is a small block and does not have the extension in place nor does it have the holes drilled. Guess now I need to see some pics of the SB shroud extension and bolt holes and how the u-nuts are mounted so I can add.

Anyone know where I might get an original SB fan shroud extension?

Here is a brief explanation I posted back in February:

"There are a couple ways to attach pictures. If you want to upload them to the forum so they appear as thumbnails (the way mine did above) this is the process.

1. On the screen where you normally type in your posts, scroll down below the "Submit Reply" button until you see the "Manage Attachments" button. Click on the "Manage Attachments".

2. To upload a picture file from your computer, click "Browse" in the "Manage Attachments" pop-up box, then search through your files until you find the picture you want to upload.

3. Double-click on the picture you want, which should automatically insert the File Path in the correct space of the "Manage Attachments" pop-up box.

4. Click "Upload", and wait about 30 seconds or longer, depending on the speed of your Internet connection, until the pop-up box shows that the picture file has been accepted.

I think that's it. If you click "Preview Post", you should be able to see whether your picture loaded properly."

Thanks for the instructions but I am still stuck. My computer is telling me that the file for the picture is too big. It wants me to reduce the size of the file from 2.31 MB tp 97.7KB. I have a call in to one of my friends who is computer savy.

If I did this correctly, attached are 2 pictures of my fan shroud showing the ac extension. I can take more if someone wants a different angle.

Thanks for the pictures Neal. If it's not too much trouble to post a few more pictures from different angles, that would be great.

Does your L79 with C60 also have power steering, or manual steering with the "HT" engine code?
