25th NCRS Sticker

I was told to remove the one I had on my car from an overzealous LEO, does anyone have a spare?

I would also like a 35th if anyone has a spare of that sticker.

Can't help you with a spare, Tom, but I'm curious as to why the officer told you to remove it?

I've got NCRS stickers on my windshield, along with a few others.

In NYS nothing allowed on the windshield except state inspection sticker and registration sticker.

Chuck,

Brian is correct, some will even pull you over for fuzzy dice or other things hanging from the rear view mirror, if I get a replacement it is going on the wing window.

Did not know that.

I've got stickers/decals on the windows of all of my old cars, NCRS stickers, "other club" stickers, etc.

Never had a problem in Maryland, and have not heard of any "issues" here in Florida.

The local Sheriff's office had to inspect my old cars before I could re-title them here. Nothing was mentioned.

Yeah even CA will bust for things hanging from the rear view mirror, it's very illegal because of the distraction and blind spot. I can't say I disagree.

A sticker in the corner of the windshield though, that's tough but I can understand if it's a state inspection sticker thing. Seems redundant though, I mean if you have a sticker for the current year on your plate then you of course passed inspection to get it right?

I have a spare 25th sticker I can send you. I also have 30th I'm not sure about a 35th. I'll have to search.

In Okla, the handicap placard that hooks over the post of the rearview mirror has instructions at the top to NOT drive with the placard in place.
Everyone (except me) with a handicap placard drives with it hanging on the mirror anyway!

Tickets = Revenue for New York State. Can't have a license plate frame, etc. New York needs money and will enforce these "unknown" small print laws.

The only one I have/seen with a time period on it, is my NCRS window decal which says across the bottom:
MEMBER SINCE 1980

Typically judging chairman of a chapter seem to have a supply of NCRS decals. Ask your chairman for one. At least that's the way it works in our Pittsburgh Tri-State chapter. John
