The primary bearings in a T-10 or Muncie are BALL BEARINGS. As far as I know, Timken does not manufacture ball bearings. Their specialty is tapered roller bearings. It's possible, though, that Timken does market under their brand name roller bearings manufactured by others or it might be that Timken has bought out a ball bearing manufacturer. In any event, Timken bearings that are purchased today may originate from Timken plants in a number of different countries. Usually, for any particular bearing part number, there will be only one country of origin.
Any rebuilder of BW or Muncie transmissions that leaves out parts during assembly is to be avoided like the plague. A guy who does this work day in-and-day out should know by heart every single piece that needs to go into the transmission.
