      Henry,

The bolt in your photo (post #10) looks like it's 5/16-18 x 1-1/8" with a 3/4" O.D. attached washer, bolt head measuring 1/2" across the flats. Is that correct?

Edit: I meant 1-1/16" on the bolt length (not 1-1/8"), measured from underside of bolt head to the pointed tip.
      Scott,
It is actually 3/8" across the flats and 1" from tip to underside of bolt head. Flat attached washer 1/2". 1/4 - 20 on the threads. It is similar to a hood support bolt but I believe the hood support bolts are shorter. As I had mentioned I have no idea why I put that bolt in that spot. By looking at it when it's on the car without a flashlight it's tough to make out it has the attached washer instead of being part of the head as Tim pointed out.

P.S. Sorry calling you "Steve" earlier, I looked at your post and saw Scott but typed "Steve"..........brainfart on my part!!

        Shooter,

I don't recognize the 1/4-20 x 1" size with the indented hex-head and attached 1/2" washer from any of the bolts that were on my car, or the smaller bolt from post #11.

My hood support-to-body bolts are close, except for the finish, which is cad or zinc. They are 7/8" long with anchor headmark, otherwise the same as the one in your post #10 (1/4-20 thread, 1/2" diameter attached washer, pinch-point tip, 3/8" across-the-flats, grade 5).

Scott, Yes my support bolts are as you described also, anchor head, zinc or cad and a little shorter (7/8").
