    69 427/390HP Cam

Based on some old receipts I found from the prior owner; this is cam currently in the engine:

    Crane Energizer Cam 260
    Cam StyleHydraulic flat tappetBasic Operating RPM Range1,000-4,600Intake Duration at 050 inch Lift204Exhaust Duration at 050 inch Lift204Duration at 050 inch Lift204 int./204 exh.Advertised Intake Duration260Advertised Exhaust Duration260Advertised Duration260 int./260 exh.Intake Valve Lift with Factory Rocker Arm Ratio0.484 in.Exhaust Valve Lift with Factory Rocker Arm Ratio0.484 in.Valve Lift with Factory Rocker Arm Ratio0.484 int./0.484 exh.Lobe Separation (degrees)110Computer-Controlled CompatibleNoGrind Number260 H10

The new recommendation is the Sealed Power CS1093M; This cam was probably the best STREET big block, flat tappet cam EVER devised. The CS1093M is an exact duplicate of the OE cam. It is built to the GM print."
I cannot find the specs for the CS1093M; but I was wondering if anyone knows how it compares to the above Crane cam which is in the engine now?
    Thanks,

    Don

Not being a cam expert: I'm not sure how they compare. It looks pretty much the same to me...Don

The L-34 cam was exactly the same as the L-36 and L-68. The GM cams are discontinued.

Specs for all the Sealed Power/Speed Pro OE replacement cams from Federal Mogul are on the NAPA web site. All you need is the OE GM number or the FM replacement number.
