    66 L72 Holley 4150/3247 carb

I could use some advice on the repair of my Holley 4150/3247 carb. I can not stop the leak between the secondary fuel bowl inlet & the 1" steel hex fitting that screw into it. I suppect that the threads in the fuel bowl are partially stripped. Are these fuel bowls still available? or is there a repair kit? or other procedure to fix this problem? If the fuel bowls are still available, what is the best source? Holley? Thanks, Glen.

Is there a brown fiber washer between the fuel inlet nut and the bowl ? Or is it a thin steel type ?

If it is the threads (and I doubt it, as the they are not a NPT type sealing type, and only provide compression of the nut/gasket/bowl junction) then it should be easy to locate a secondary bowl, as they were used on just about all center-hinge float bowls in the mid-late '60s (except the LIST 3124 of the L78).

Wayne, Thanks for the reply. There is a thin black fiber washer between the nut and bowl. The more I look at it the more it seems like the threads in the bowl are stripped. The threads on the nut fitting look good. I guess I'll check out Holley on line.
