    Michael,

You have a weak battery AND the wires are reversed on your AMP GAUGE. See that you are running out of time but a simple fix. Didn't catch that this was the finish of a new project, new wiring harness etc.

    See you in Joplin,

    Joe

I'm sure the Department of Energy will want the hear about this discovery.

Your amp guage is reversed if you turn the head lights on and show a charge.

The discharge when the engine is running also supports that.

Joe, unfortunately, I had planned on leaving early this morning. Putting everything back together and fixing the wiring has delayed me long enough that making the drive from eastern Michigan to Joplin by Thursday at 5:00 PM is not going to be possible, especially with the weather system between here and there.

This car had its first PV at Joplin in 1990, so I had hoped to make it there again, but, I'll have to delay judging until New Jersey in a few weeks.
