C6 Trim Codes

Apparently online registration wants paint code, trim code and build date even for Sportsman. Question is how is this information decoded from the car (2010).

John, Your paint and trim codes should be on the label on inside of glove box door. Your built (month/year) date is on the inside of the driver door.

It took mine 85U and 19I (working from memory, here) with no problem, but my understanding is the system will not retan that information for Sportsman. So once you get the codes, keep them someplace for easy access the next time you register your 2010 for Sportsman.

I still can't remember the VIN of the 2008 -- it is too long. No similar problem for the 1970 though, but then I have owned the 1970 long enough remembering the VIN is no problem. I somehow don't think
