As we restore our cars we have experienced less than desirable parts quality, marginal attitudes and questionable service from various vendors. Some better…..some worse. I had the opportunity to visit the Crowley Corvette web site, found a very useful article under the “How to” section….convertible top removal and installation. The tutorial was very insightful however the images supplied were too small to see detail. I contacted Crowley Corvette and asked could they email images from the article to me. Possibly this person was busy when I called but it was apparent he didn’t want to help as he stated (paraphrase) “the posting is a free service and he had to make a living”…basically stating he was busy and didn’t want to help. That’s unfortunate as I am a supporter of vendors who have helped me or others. How you ask, through purchases or the mentioning of their name as someone who has performed well, shows a good attitude or sells quality products. Am I mad or crying foul…..nope…just calling it the way it was dealt. Mr. Vendor, if you’re going supply information anticipate questions and support your process. Won’t be using Crowley Corvette anytime soon.

Re: Another vendor with a poor attitude?
Michael, I get phone calls all day long. Here is my approach on the more complicated answers. "Sir I am really tied up at the moment but if you would give me your phone number I will gladly call you back later so I can sit down and help you with the problem".
Not bragging but I don't get a complaint when I tell the caller this. They seem to understand.

I have to agree with others, I don't think you have a complaint, just a bitch, company under no obligation to give you (at their cost) pictures because you don't like the size they post on the site. Company probably glad you are not dealing with them...my 2 cents.Michael

Re: Another vendor with a poor attitude?
In the time it took to blow off the caller he could have told him how to save or enlarge the pictures and left the prospective customer with a good feeling about his business. Any time someone takes the time to pick up the phone and call your business he is a prospective customer with $$ in his hand even if he doesn't buy anything this time. Don't cut him off short. There are too many other places for him to take his money.
