Windows on my 59 roll up and down real hard. This car was just restored and I know there are things to do when restoring to solve this problem but I need help without taking it apart. Is the a lubrication product I can put on the side window frames to help them roll easier? Thanks in advance

Re: C-1 Side Windows
Jerry, I had difficulty with my windows after replacing regulators. My problem was adjusting/aligning the windows in the channels. The only lube I have ever used was Lubriplate on the regulators. Check the ST-12.

Re: C-1 Side Windows
spray front and rear channel fuzzys with a teflon containing aerosol can(lowes, home depot). you'll have to repeat the spray on occassion . the repo fussys are thicker than originals +/or narrower than originals as mike ernst mentioned.- Top

Re: C-1 Side Windows
Mike and Mike, correct you are, as always! I have my originals from the '57 and also ones I bought from Chevy OTC in '65. It looks like the newer are a bit narrower (without my glasses) and the whiskers are very long. I would be surprised if the original whiskers are as long as the newer ones.
