    C1 Transmission Mainshaft

    Does the mainshaft get grease before it's bolted up to the tranny? if so, any recommendations on types?

      You can use any good EP chassis lube or engine assembly lube.

          Joe- thanks for the reply. I was concerned about centrifugal force when the main shaft spins. I thought it might toss grease all over the clutch plate and was wondering if that would be a problem.

              The amount you should apply is MINIMAL; just a VERY LIGHT film and only to the splined section.
