Re: 1967 power glide ?
the 67 vette and 67 pass cars with big blocks all shared the aluminum powerglide and altho the pass ca PG will function perfectly in your vette, there are #'s stamped and cast into the PG that will differ vette vs pass car PG.mike- Top

Re: 1967 power glide ?
Mark------
You can use a 1967 Powerglide from other Chevrolet models in a 1967 Corvette with 427 and Powerglide. However, many of the internal parts of the Powerglide used with small block cars is different from those used with big block cars. If the donor transmission comes from a passenger car with big block, there will be little difference between it and the Powerglide used with Corvettes and big block. However, if the donor transmission comes from a small block passenger car (or, even a small block Corvette), there will be significant internal differences. Among many other parts differences, the torque converter used for small block cars is different than that used for big blocks. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Hey Mike,
I know there were 207 1967 Tri-Power Powerglide cars produced. How many were convertible and how many were coupes?
Thanks- Top

Re: 1967 power glide ?
The standard rear gear ratio for L-36/L-68 with Powerglide and without C-60 was 3.36:1. Positraction was mandatory and the code was "AU". For L-36/L-68 applications with C-60 the standard ratio was 3.08:1 positraction and the code was "AT".
The standard gear ratio for 300 hp with Powerglide was 3.36:1 with code "AK".In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
