    68 AM/FM Yellow Radio Card

Since this card is not mentioned in the Owners Packet items, does having one for Flight judging matter?

The radio instruction sheet is listed in the owner's packet. This is a folded page printed on light beige/yellow paper. But you may be referring to the tag that hung from the radio knob.

Yes, that is the card I'm referring to. Does it matter if you have it or not?

We do not look for it at the present time. However, a revision of the JG is in the process. (Won't be used before the convention.)

Along with other unique paper items 68's and 69's had a radio tags that were installed on one of the radio knobs. The tag was different from the mid year style in wording and color. The mid year tags were a darker yellow and the 68/69 tags were pale yellow. My research also indicates mid/late 67 cars also used the pale yellow tags.
The radio sheet Reba refers to would be a white fold open booklet with three possible part numbers; #968, #199 or #110 for 1968 cars. The #110 sheet would be for 1969, 1970 and possibly early 1971.
I'll try to post photos of the two different radio tags.

The first two photos are the darker yellow 65/66 and early 67 radio tag. Second two are the pale yellow late 67, 68 and 69 radio tag.

Thanks Dave. I have the more pale yellow card with my 68. The originals have the hole punched out while the repros that I have seen have a slit to take it on and off.

                  Hey Guys,
My radio card has wire instead of a type of string. I was told it did come with wire. Interesting. Jeff

                    Jeff,
I'm no expert but I've seen a lot of radio tags and never seen one with either a wire or a string.
Now, Headlight washer tags or wiper over-ride tags are a different story.

You are so correct Dave. I apologize Joe, I was refering to the overide tag. Always learning here. Jeff
