I know Peter but didn't know he did locks and keys. I just paid a fortune for a NOS 66 tire lock and keys from a driveline advertiser. $450.00 Wish I had know.

Need to make correction. Price paid was $435 not $450. Sorry
Have found out since posting this that the tire lock wasn't NOS but a repo. Also to clarify, the tire lock was $275 and with the 2 keys came to $435.

Why didn't you just take it to a locksmith and have him install new tumblers to match your key?

I agree. My local dealership wanted $100 to re-key a new lock to the original key for my Acura. I took it to a locksmith and it was done in 5 mins. for $10. I asked about cutting keys from the stamped code on the existing key for my 65. Turns out he owns 2 C-2's. $5 each including the key and he will stamp the code into the knock-outs if I want.
