Enclosed is research data that I have collected for many years studying the stamped date codes on factory installed AC fuel pumps.

AC re-buildable pumps (w/screws)
______________________________________________
"4657" , "64" casting year w/3 hash marks (Mar. 1964)
"4657KE" (Nov. 1965), "65" w/10 hash marks (Oct. 1965)
"4657KE" (Nov. 1965), "65" w/9 hash marks (Sept. 1965)
"6842KE" (Nov. 1965), "65" w/?? hash marks. NOS pump
"6942LE" (Nov. 1965), from 1966 Chev. 283 "T1222GA"
(Dec. 22, 1965)
"4657EF" (May 1966), "66" w/3 hash marks (Mar. 1966)
"4657EF" (May 1966), "66" w/4 hash marks (April 1966)
"4657GF" (July 1966), "66" w/5 hash marks (May 1966),
NOS pump
"4657GF" (July 1966), "66" w/6 hash marks (June 1966), NOS pump
"4657JF" (Oct. 1966), "66" w/10 hash marks (Oct. 1966)
NOTE: I have a few "rebuilt" pumps that have dates that do NOT match because the rebuilders did NOT bother to match up the tops and bottom as these parts were mostly interchangeable.

"FF40433" (June 1966), Early 1967 Corvette (VIN # 183)
"HH40669" (Aug. 1968), 1969 Camaro Z28, "V0912DZ" (Sept. 12, 1968)
"AI40503" (Jan. 1969), Service pump for 67 Corvette
"DI40658" (April 1967), Pump from my non-original 1966 Corvette engine. Possibly from an "early" 1967 Camaro as pump # 5656858 was replaced by # 6440524 as per 1967 Camaro AIM (revision record, 2/1/67).
"FG40433" (June 1967). Original pump on 1967 Corvette 327, VIN # 22049, engine dated June 29, 1967.
"CG40433" (Mar. 1967), Believed to be an original 1967 Corvette 327 pump from a friend on mine in Richmond, VA.
"LH40709" (Dec. 1968), Seems a bit too early for a 1970 LT1. "V0114CTU" (Jan. 14, 1970).
"DJ40726" (Apr. 1970), Original pump from 1970 Z28 made in Apr. 1970 (Nasty Z28 website).
"DJ40726" (Apr. 1970), from 1970 Z28 (Nasty Z28 website).
"?J40726" (???, 1970), from a 1970 Z28 made in Feb. 1970 (Nasty Z28 website).
"LI40726" (Dec. 1969), from a 1970 Z28 (Nasty Z28 website).
"LH40709 (Dec. 1968), Seems a bit too early for a 1970 engine stamped "V0702CTK" (July 2, 1970)
"8K40709" (8th day of 1971), 1071 LT1 eng. "V330CGZ"

"219K40956" (219th day of 1971), 1972 Coupe (May 10, 1972).
"215K40769" (215th day of 1971), Seems a bit late for a
1971 eng. "V1201CJK" (Dec. 01, 1970).
"197J40726" (197th day of 1970), from 1970 Z28 (Nasty Z28 website).

I would appreciate it if anyone that still has the original AC fuel pump from his or her Corvette/Camaro/Chevelle/Nova post the appropriate information on this thread.
I am totally convinced that AC fuel pumps have a STAMPED date code incorporated into the stamped AC part number starting in 1965. I have never found a STAMPED date code on a 1964 or older AC fuel pump except on rebuilt pumps made with random parts.
I hope the non-believers will at least keep an open mind to my stamped date code theory.
Dave
