      John,
Paragon sells GM Restoration Products 107 and 091 coils.
They look pretty good except for the raised boses on either side of the tower. The 107 or 091 along with 12V is a raised stamping near the top of the coil. In have a new 091 that I am looking at now.
These boses can be "removed" to make the coil more correct.
They get $160 which seems high for a repro, but then where else can you find one. It looks like CC sell them for $89.95?
      Good luck.

John, unless I am mistaken, there is only one company reproducing the coils. I do not think that anyone is reskinning coils anymore.

              Re: 58 107 Coil

Do you all know the history of the 107 coils? Dale Pearman taught me years ago that the coil started off life on heavy equipment such as ff road vehicles, school buses,etc..
It was not originally designed for Corvette. JD

And I know where one is, there is a 10/15 ton Buffalo Springfield asphalt roller I used to own with a four cylinder continental engine. Vintage late sixties with a 107 coil, I am almost positive.

Guess I better go take another look at "BABY DOLL"

                  Re: 58 107 Coil

The 091 coil I have is a new GM Restoration part and the 091 and 12 volt embosing is about 7/8" from the top of the coil. According to the 61-61 judging manual these markings should be near the bottom of the coil. If I assume the 107 is in the same position then they are both incorrect.

Have Ken Keyser post a photo of the original owner 61 107 coil I sold him at Kissimmee this year. Taken off the car before 1984.
