correct fan shroud and dust shield staples/material?

From doing some reading I need to buy 16ga blister pack steel wire, correct? not sure what it's meant by blister-pack. Does it need to read galvanized, ss or what?

I read where judges check if they're magnetic or not but didn't see where they're supposed to be or NOT supposed to be magnetic.

So, a little unsure what to go buy at lowes/home depot at this point. The pre-formed ones that came with my dust shields from paragon are magnetic. I read where the pre-formed oens that most restoration places carry are SS (ss=non magnetic) but again mine that came from paragon are magnetic which would be correct and they look different (less shinny) from the galvanized steel fence wire on a roll that I have.

which makes me question maybe paragon and other places have stepped it up to be more correct and perhaps the ones from paragon are really what I need to be using. Confused.

The one's from "paragon are magnetic" and that is Correct.

Also the thickness of the rubber in the past has been toooo thin.
You want 3/32, although the repo's were at 5/64 even I could tell
the difference by feel.

There have been some excellent past posts on how to bend the staples however I just can not find in my notes.

Well from what I read the ones from paragon are ss and not magnetic so I guess what I'm saying is mine form paragon aren't ss.

anywho I will keep researching the acrhives but if anyone has experience with this post here too. thanks

Brandon, make sure they are painted the engine bay color as well because they were installed at that time of blackout.

And naturally the dust shield is painted blackout also - at least it makes painting simpler.

Brandon, just because the material is stainless steel does not necessarily mean that it is not-magnetic. In the past I have worked with some stainless steel that was magnetic and would also rust. 17-4 ph is one example of a stainless that is magnetic and will rust.
