1967 Glovebox door alignment

To all,

My 67 roadster's glovebox door just won't get centered on the dash. I've tried moving the frame, etc, but it is still off center. Is this a 67 issue as my 63's door lines up perfectly on center.

Any ideas?

Give us more info, door alignment, alignment near the dash pads....or on the lower cross brace?

Sorry, I should have been clearer in my explanation. The top of the door is not centered on the dashpad. It looks like the hinge is level and in line with the cross brace.

Gerald,

The glove box hinge has oblonged attachment holes for adjustment. Slightly loosen the three screws and slide door left or right to get alignment.

I tried that and when I tighten the screws, it goes back into a "misalignment" status. I just wonder if I make larger holes in the support brace to give me more play.
