Re: 71 heater control vacuum hoses

    A) If the wiper door vacuum relay is by the master cylinder (1970 and some 1971) the T will be as shown in my photo. In this case I believe BB & SB are the same.

    B) If the wiper door vacuum relay is in the fender well (1968, 1969, some 1971 and all 1972), I believe BB and SB will have this T at different locations as mentioned above.

Vince, I assUme you don't have any of the original vacuum hoses to use as a clue as to where the T was located originally.

Don’t you just love vacuum systems? They suck.

needed that laugh, my early 71 has it in the fender. tour my garage apart and found the original hose with the T still in it. Its right where Kens pic shows it. problem solved, thanks to all.

Back when we were doing research for the 1993 version of the 1970-72 TIM&JG I was visiting a friend who owned an LS6 Corvette (13K s/n range) it had/has the windshield wiper vacuum relay valve at the master cylinder (see Dobbins' Vette Vues Fact Book 1968-1972
