That's what I would think...someone, reporter or cop, made a superficial conclusion on the cause. He probably "twitched" to miss road debris and ended up rolling it.

I once tried to "straddle" a piece of firewood, because I didn't have time to do much of anything else. I could've "twitched", but I thought better of it, hoping the car had enough clearance. It didn't...it sounded like that piece of firewood was going to rip the bottom out of that C4. There wasn't any damage to the body or chassis, but the oil pan had to be replaced.
