67 AC L79 battery cable

I have to replace the long positive cable, and mine has the square head threaded hex head bolt. it sure looks original to the car . were all cables spring ring or could they have used this type? it also has Packard writing on the wire cover .

Craig - As Bob said, the original battery cables had the spring ring ends. What you have is a Packard replacement cable or cables. Someone probably replaced the originals because they were a PITA and sooner or later in the good old days you replaced the cable ends or installed new cables. Pete
