The module was GM #16146688 but it is GM-discontinued. You can get one from Auto ECM's (www.autoecms.com). This will be a reconditioned unit but the GM units were sold as reconditioned, too. These are not cheap but they wouldn't have been cheap if you could have gotten one from the dealer.

Contact us if you need a 90-96 BCM. As far as I know we are the only company who has access to the OEM Delphi parts and who can program your mileage. A used part will have different mileage than your original part.

This ie why I like the C-1& C-2 Corvettes. If you have fuel,spark & compression it will go. As I have said before Gm has turend there back on people that bought 80"S & later Corvettes. Sometimes newer is not better. There are going to be a lot of later model cars up on blocks because no eelecteical/sensors & other cheap parts that were used . The newer ones did go fast with cold air blowing up your A** but at what cost for those that need parts. 15 years ago I could get GM parts for a 56 Corvette. A sad day in Mudville.

Had that go on a 2001 impala.

Battery kept going dead. discovered which circuit/fuse was involved, pulled the fuse whenever I shut off the car. worked well until we could get a BCM from GM parts direct and then had to have a dealer put it in as they apparently were the only one's who could.. they used the vin to determine how to burn it.
