Recently my right turn signal started act strangely. When I put on the right turn signal, the front turn signal does not light, my dashboard indicator does not light but BOTH rear right side lights blink brightly. My left turn signal operates properly. Any thoughts?

Re: 67 Directional Signal Problem
Ira,
Before diving into the column there is a simple check you can do to determine if your problem is in the TS switch.
Find the TS switch connector that attaches at the lower column(8 wires in connector).
Then find the dark blue wire (its between the brown and lt blue ) , turn your right signal on , now probe the dark blue on both sides of the connector.
If you get 12v on the side going to the TS switch and not on the other side you need to clean the TS connector.
If you don't get 12v on either ,the problem is in the TS switch, and sometimes you can clean the contacts in the switch and fix the problem.

Re: 67 Directional Signal Problem
Ira,
Rogers test is a good starting place, I would add one more detail, check the connector pins at the base of column, sometimes they'll back out and give you that type of problem. maybe even just turn on that signal and wiggle the wires at the connector. good luck, EdNew England chapter member, 63 Convert. 327/340- Chapter/Regional/national Top Flight, 72 coupe- chapter and regional Top Flight.- Top
