With no disrespect to the OP and to those who have replied to this thread, but is this question appropriate for the TDB? The NCRS has set up judging against a standard not each other. With one sentence haven't you created competition between the cars/owners? The 55,57 and the 72 were very nice examples but every car entered means a lot to each of the owners. IMHO

I hear ya, but, NCRS does have a Ladies Choice award which does select a favorite by majority. I agree this thread ain't technical, but, a little lighthearted competition isn't harmful.

You are a great guy and you are, technically correct. It seems in this day in time when each Little League ballplayer has to get the same amount of playing time, regardless of talent, and living in a society where you can't say anything without offending someone, I think it's best to lighten up...Francis.

I think there was ample opportunity to see the car during the week. Many owners were covering their cars before they left the showfield each day, and due to the heat and threat of rain I can't blame them for leaving a little early or for double covering their cars.

I over heard someone say that the ladies not only voted for their favorite car at this years National but also their favorite judge. After all the votes were counted the winner was this handsome C3 Mechanical Judge with the six pack abs and initials MD?

Kevin, You don't have to stroke him any more. You got your award, or rather your car did.

I believe you and Curt share something else, his one owner never restored '62 PG car was "deer modified" I believe I remember his telling the tale "at the farm".

it is close between the 57 ab car and the 72 zr1. i got to be an oj for the 70-72 double bumper cars so my favorite is the zr1. what an oppertunity to get up close and personal with a car like that. i took several pics. i saw alot of midyear stuff i liked too. the silver 63 coupe was nice as well. everything there was nice. it was like miss america for cars. no ugly ones there!
