67 3x2 #3660 correct choke pull-off

    67 3x2 #3660 correct choke pull-off

    Looking for guidance on which choke pull-off is correct a straight pipe or curved pipe? Application is the center carb #3660 on a 3x2 tripower.

    Do you mean the linkage that goes from the choke lever to the heat sink in the manifold?

      Hi Mike,
      Sorry, I meant the vacuum actuated choke pull-off which pulls the choke open approximately 1/2" after engine start to prevent flooding. It's on the right side and is approximately 1" in diameter with a curved link/arm attached. I currently have one with a curved pipe that the vacuum hose attaches to. I've seen straight and curved on cars. I suspect one is replacement but I'm not sure.

        All nozzles I've ever seen [choke vacuum break] are curved; the service units are straight, IMO.

          Thanks Wayne, I suspected the straight pipe was a replacement design.
