    Coil Bracket Bolts -Original?

Are these coil bracket bolts and capacitor bracket screw original? They look a little shiny because the last owner of the parts sprayed them with some sort of clear finish. Also, what vintage would these parts be correct for?

    Thanks.

Those we among the ones that were used, so I would not doubt that they're not only correct but also original to the car.

The bracket mounting bolts with the 3 radial lines at 90 degrees to each other designate a GM 275M material grade fastener. Why they used these in several locations on the car, including the coil bracket mounting, I do not know. GM 275M is a material grade just below GM 280M which is equivalent to SAE grade 5. The 280M fasteners are VERY common on Corvettes.

      Larry,

If you are looking for BB coil bolts the Anchor over TEE bolts are what I see in 68-up. 65-67 for typicaly have a flanged head. I can post some pics if you want.

        Larry,

          Rich,
Thanks for the picture. Attached are pictures of what are on my 66. Look a lot like yours with a different head marking. The first ones came with a coil bracket I picked up. I did not know if mine were correct or if the ones without the flange would have been.
