Call Gary Pronesti in Zellwood FL. If you call Information and ask for Pronesti classics they should give it to you. If you can't get it email me and i will get it. msolidaxle@aol.com

You can create the intake to cylinder head gaskets from the Summit catalog gaskets. Just secure to the intake (off the engine) and mark the outline of manifold on gasket and add the "grave stone" blip too. Cut it out and repeat other side. No suggestions for end rubber gaskets.

The flat top camel hump gaskets being sold for accurate repros are a joke.

All someone does is buy the typical repro intake to head gasket that has the camel hump on them. Then they snip off the round area of the camel hump and make it flat.
When did the flat top go to a nice rounded camel hump? Anyone know?

John, could you post a picture or drawing of what the correct gasket should look like? Mike

Here is a picture of a NOS gasket but the end rubber is different so I am not sure how old gasket set is.

                  John,
Rounded tabs are mid year, squared off tops are in the c1's.

Do Gary's gaskets have the "GM" tabs on the end rubbers? I am guessing no but I can't believe someone isn't repopping those yet. Seems like such a simple thing

I don't think you meant to reply to the link I posted. I was going to contact this vendor about buying gaskets and I searched the Web as I usually do for businesses I am personally unfamiliar with and found this when I searched.

                        I need a set of "original" head gaskets for a 1958 283/250.

Anyone have any comments about the reliability of this vendor ??

I bought intake to head gaskets from Pronesti at Carlisle and did not get any comments from the judges at the Bowling Green Regional. He had the end rubber gaskets that has the GM on the tabs but wanted $200 for a set so I didn't buy then. I got.a set at Kissimmee last year from someone else for $150.

Arthus, Gary has been my pal-my bud for about 30 years or so. I guarantee that you can rely on him as a Corvette/Chevy Vendor.
The repro gasket sets he sells are not corrct for NCRS judging. Various repro catalogs sell them. If you ask I am sure they will tell you the gaskets are presentable but not for our judging. A buyer should realize this in the first place as the repros are in the $30.00 range. NOS are big bucks.
For my 63 FI car I bought a set of NOS gaskets (early set) with the correct GM logos. John
