You're probably correct. At first I typed CW, then changed it. It's been about five years since I pulled a distributor, so I probaby forgot.

Well just a follow up. Well apparently all is well. I ended up with just enough room when I tried to set the timing again. The vacuum advance is close but it will clear by just a little. The advance is behind the support and the tach cable is coming out correctly as well.

I thank every one for all their help.

The shop did have the gear installed correctly.
