    1969 Vacuum Relay Valves

How many headlamp vacuum relay valves are there on a early 1969 Corvette?
They are located by the headlamps.
A schematic or a picture is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in Advance

Bill, there are two relays mounted under the middle front of the top surround panel.

There Are Two, One For The Headlights And One For The The Wiper Door. There Are Many Articles In The Past That Discuss This Subject. I Maybe Able To Help. I Just Spent A Week On My 69 System.

        Define early.
Around October 1969 they went to two relay valves for the headlamps. Before that, or close to it, there was just a single valve.

I agree with Terry, I have a 69 that was made on July 18th 1969 and there is only one control valve located in the center of the nose of the car. If you on line you can find diagrams of the headlight and wiper systems. I have one at home but can't get to it for a couple of days.

Mine was made in late November 69 and has just one valve in the nose. I can't say that nobody changed it after the fact, but given that the hoses appeared original and hardened, I doubt it. I just spent some time tracking down vacuum leaks and getting my system working again.

I have a sept' 68 build (early) and 1 valve under the nose and the other is under pass fender. I to spent much and money getting my system functioning again as virtually every component was leaking vacuum.

I believe that your car should have only one valve.
