    Joe,

Yes, there are numbers on those panels. I remember seeing them when I did that shoulder belt project in 2008. But darn, and with apologies, it is 35*F here today and snowing and I am reluctant to start working on the interior in the unheated garage in these conditions. If things warm up soon I can get those numbers if they have NCRS relevance. Tonight is just a nice hot beef stew and a bottle of Chardonnay. Sorry!

I have a May built 74' convertible without shoulder belts. The panels, which I believe are original, have the cutouts. The cutouts are the wide design discussed in Paul's note. I could not see the p/n of either panel with the panels installed.

This earlier thread on the quarter trim pieces has some discussion on the material.

I still think all factory 70-75 convertible quarter trim had the holes cut as stated in the post I made in the thread above. I have cut the holes in the replacement parts as they were sold both ways.

Interesting. And I do not have an answer. Mine were not cut as I stated above.

While I'm not 100% sure they're the original pieces, my 70's rear trim has the holes even though I don't have the shoulder belts, and I got no deduct up to a National.

The repo parts use regular trim screws but the originals used screws with a machine screw thread and an insert in the plastic. Repo's have a hole in the plastic and strip easy when installing the metal body color trim.
What type do you have and are you sure they were original to the car?
