Carefully eyeball the stud associated with the rocker that was askew (compare height to adjacent rocker studs). The typical SB cylinder head used press-fit rocker studs and it's NOT unusual for them to work their way free after a cylinder head overhaul if the original studs were re-used and/or properly over-sized studs weren't used.
More than a few of us go to the extremes of using screw-in rocker studs or having the machine shop 'pin' press-fit replacement studs for that extra degree of confidence. Once you've swallowed a valve due to a loose/rising, press-fit, rocker stud you too can become a believer...
