If there was first and second design, for Onyx Black it had to be after mid May 57. Mine is red, #4122, built in mid May time frane. Also the upper dash color is black. I believe that Onyz Black was the only exterior color that had a black upper dash. Someone can correct me on this if I am wrong. -Dan-

Dan, you are correct. Only Onyx black had a black upper.
