Re: c-1 repo heater hoses
i used dishwashing detergent and took a rotary file to increase the ID of the repo hoses and still tight as hell. don't believe grease(petroleum derivatives) compatable with rubber hoses. soap works better as lubricant and won't interact negativly on the rubber. hey roy, instead of grease, use KY Jelly. jsut kiddin. I routinely have a local rubber stamp company make stamps for such occasions. mike- Top

Re: c-1 repo heater hoses
in the past i have complained to cc about the wall thickness being too thin making the use of spring ring clamps imposable, sounds like they put the meat on the wrong side of the hose, the good news is our only choice of parts is no longer TMCS, Chevrolet or the local parts store, the bad news is half of the repo stuff we get won't work.- Top
