Brandon, I picked up on a small detail, the plug wire looms, swap the 2 and the 4 wire looms around, the 2 wire loom should be on the valve cover middle, and 4 wire loom at the top of the v/cover rear. this should neaten them up alittle.

Ah! nice catch, didn't think about that when I popped the new ones on and your right look at the before pic thats how they were with the old ones.

I need to do some work on that area, starting with braided wires.

      thanks

you know of anywhere they might have them a lot cheaper? I haven't had luck on ebay or swap meets. It has an accel in it right now.

I bought an original repro ac delco cap for it which looks awesome and went to put it on my acel and you probably know already it won't fit it...think I paid like 70 bucks for that cap too..can't remember but it was high for a cap!
You buy a Corvette tach drive distributor core for about $100 at most swap meets or from online swap sites.
You send it to someone like Bill Clupper and have it correctly rebuilt and curved to your specs.
You buy a red ID band for $20 from Paragon with the right numbers and date.

        Voila!
Probably $300-400 when you're done depending on what work it needs.
You sell Accel on eBay for $50-100 and recoup your $.

Ah good advice, I've been trying to find an original which had trim tag with model number and date that would work for my car..your way would be MUCH MUCH easier, I'll do some looking into getting one again now.

          thanks
