Joe Calcagno is a long time member and in years gone by contributed several ecellent articles to the "RESTORER".

Use a flange nut, it does away with the washer and is easier to get threaded with a socket. Its a strange thread but if you cannot find them you can make your own t bolts of a different thread. I bought a bag of the flange nuts from Fastnall.

If you have any of the early "Restorers", Joe Calcagno is no stranger to the technical articles therein. Many excellent "how to", by this author. I personally get a lot of enjoyment from these and many other articles from the "old days".

Pulling in the second antenna wire rated way up there along with installing a new back window in the hardtop.

Spending money to get real original parts, the rest is a labor of love.

That's why it's smart to ask here or show a pic of the part you see for sale that you think is correct ( I wish people would do that before buying anything) I"m not to good on (four eye) Corvettes (out of my price rang) but so many members are. You being where you are it's easy to get screwed. Hate suppliers that screw members
