My '85 seems to have a lot of pressure in the fuel tank. When I go to remove the cap, air escapes for a good 10 seconds and I really have to hold the cap. I don't know if this is normal, as my '74 has no pressure. I have the factory service manual, but it seems pretty vague. I've replaced the vapor canister, the vacuum valve, and the rubber hoses. How would I check the purge canister solenoid. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Just make sure you're not smoking when you remove the cap!!!- Top
