We just bought a 6 litre Dodge Nascar motor and shoved it in a 18 foot race boat. Paid 15k ready to go. We didn't pull the motor down just lifted the covers and had a peek and turned it upside down and pulled the pan. It's absolutely sex inside that motor. I have never seen stuff that well prepared !! Anyway got it out on the river and turned it to 9200 RPM. It's like a scalded cat and revs it's head off. We need to put bigger gears in it to lower the RPM to around mid 8000 's it's amazing listening to a small block at 9200 RPM. Stewy

The little engine that could. Where would we (and Corvette) be today without the small block Chevy and Rochester fuel injection?
