Did the early 63 warranty book (tan cover) have the owner verification of resale and dealer verification of resale and if so what was on the rest of the page? Thanks for your post!!

Re: Early 63 Warranty Book question?
I just recently learned there was a first edition warranty book in 1963. It is part number 3821481. My notes indicate it has a yellow cover but it may be some think it is tan. I do not know about the resale and dealer verification page(s) but will try to find out. The second edition is orange/pink and is part number 383841.- Top

It would not be the first time I missed a part number. I will double check and report back to the board.- Top

Re: Early 63 Warranty Book question?
You are right. The Orange/Pink version is #3838412 ( I dropped the "2"). The interesting thing is your early car came with that warranty booklet. The yellowish color book is labeled first edition part # 3821481 ( an earlier part number). So if car VIN # 618 came with the second design warranty book when was the first edition used.??? I can see why the first editions are rare. Just another mystery for the 63/64 re-write team...........- Top

Re: Early 63 Warranty Book question?
Bob, I'll be looking for your post on this. I need any information that you have on the owner and dealer verification if the early book has this. 62 doesn't have it ,later 63 has it. I could use any information on both sides of that page if it exists. Photos would be a great help. Thanks for your post and the hope it has given. Your contribution is greatly appreciated! stan19259- Top

Re: Early 63 Warranty Book question?
We had a glovebox school here at the New England chapter about a month ago. One of the members showed me his first edition warranty book which I had never seen before. Got the part number and color but no other details. I think I remember the member so if Bob can't get the information let me know and I'll chase it down.- Top

I have the 63 yellow owner protection book in front of me.
Its not like the pink colored protection plan with dealer and owner verification of sale on the third page.
I'll try to post a pic if there is something you'd care to see.
Its unissued, so its without any dates or dealer/owner info.Bob- Top
