Back to what Michael said BRAKES, BRAKES, BRAKES, BRAKES, just because you can get it up to speed you still need to stop it. As much as I agree with Dick about using your head when you drive, others will not cut you any slack when driving. They will cut you short, cut in front of you, drive like fools to pass you on the right, pull in front of you you and stop.
Wind is your second problem, if you drive in high winds those small vechicles can be blown over along with the load.
By all means buy a trailer with braked on all wheels and keep them adjusted, must be adjusted regularly.
