Ian I was so sick of scouting the parts for sale section for a T10 it drove me nutz. After I found one 1 1/2 years with the correct dates they must of been 10 of them come up for sale really cheap and correct for my car. I think it's just one of those things from time to time they appear from the depths of someone's garage getting in the way and deciding to off load it. If you wait it will happen at a good price. My fave is a 58 or 60 since all have kinda told what their op's are.

59 is one of those kinda nothing major years they just took the spears and louvers off.

60 had a few upgrades.

61-62 looks like 2 car gens put together.

I would also take a 57 but the interior is not nearly as nice.

That appears to be a correct assessment. You could spend some time on the "For Sale" websites to confirm it. Some of the styling and technical differences have been discussed, but to me it looks like it's a matter of taste.
