A-arm bushing bolts re-torquing saftey issue

After the body drop, these bolts need to be torqued. But can I SAFELY remove them, one at a time, so that I can put some blue locktite on them and then torque them to spec.

This is with the springs compressed.

If you are talking about the bolts that thread into the end of the inner control arm shaft(s) (upper and lower) -- the ones that have the large convex washer on them -- The answer is yes, you can remove them one at a time. You can even remove all of them, but I wouldn't drive the car that way. Of course when torquing them to the final value you want the full weight of the car on the wheels.

NO! And you don't need Locktite. Did GM use Locktite? No.

With the car at normal ride height torque the bolts to the spec in the assembly manual and you are done.

Thanks for the info. My original was still tight after all this time so Locktite is probably not necessary.
