The Limited Edition NCRS Belt Buckle

I seem to remember that there was a limited edition belt buckle, that was available through the NCRS. Without going back through some old literature, does anyone remember what year it was that it was offered? Possibly how many of them there were also? Were they numbered?

If you are talking about the cast? polished stainless steel buckles, I have one of them, and in fact, wearing it today. They were offered in the '80's I believe. Gary Mortimer has tried to contact the vendor that made them with no success.

In 1978 there was a Corvette 25th anniversary buckle, available at her Flint National meet that year. Those were serialized with a number stamped on the back of each.

take that valuable NCRS belt buckle off and put the log chain with binder back on to keep yer pants up. mikie

The Limited Edition Belt Buckles Were Available In 1978. They Were Numbered. A Total Of 300 Were Made

Article in Spring, 1997 issue of Restorer. I have heard from about 30 of the original owners of buckles over the years since. I have a "sort of" database of the buckle numbers/owners. If you have a buckle and you wish to let me know its number, I will add it to my list. Ken
