If it is taking me 27 years to do a restoration how many do
you think it will take to clean out my garage. Maybe i
will invite you to indiana and we will just sit on the porch in
our rocking chairs and talk about how it used to be.

Bill, I think thats a good idea. I never get to sit in my rocking chair but I think I would enjoy some time there. I am having some thoughts of taking up Scuba diving again but probably would do a lot more talking about it than action on my part. Hurry up and get that thing finished! Mike

It sounds like a lot of folks on this board have a condition called "Hoarders Disease". After 30+ years in law enforcement and 5 years in Code Enforcement, I have been in enough homes to know I don't want to suffer from it!! I was in a home that the widest path required a person to shuffle sideways to move about and the homeowner was worried that we "might" knock off the Christmas tree lights on TWO (that's right 2) Christmas trees in the living room that had been there for 9-10 years. I saw a dozen or so new CD's in a bag and saw that they were several years old and I asked him where his CD player was and he didn't know.Stuff was stacked 5-6 feet high in every room and the staircase to the 2nd floor was just as bad.
They have a Hoarder's program on a cable TV channel and there are more people out there suffering from this disease than one can imagine.

Rick, I just put a windshield in my car that I bought in 1972. You never know when you are going to need this stuff. Save the Wave and them ole parts too!

Francis Yes i have room on the porch
yea i have all original parts saved including a/c parts
I did throw away the carpet. darn we could have covered
the porch floor. ha ha
Mike i do have a completion date MAY17 -2010
Grandson wants to drive it senior day at his highschool. They will
let you drive anything, even a old corvette.
DONT THROW ANYTHING AWAY
