    Another Holley 3810 Project

Well, I'm about to begin a restoration project on this Holley 3810:

Just about everything is wrong on this carb for a 3810, the fuel bowls, base plate and throttle, 50cc accelerator pump, #19 secondary metering plate, choke lever. I think most of the parts came off a 66 passenger car.
    The #19 metering plate is for a 327 275hp engine List 3230A.

But I just couldn't pass this one up for my 67 327/300:

The date code 763 on the air horn is the week before my 06/26/67 engine. The main body and the 4743 metering block are the only things on this carb that are correct to a 3810. Does anyone recognize the float adjusting screws/nuts? They look very odd to me.

So in the next few months we will go through a restoration of this carb back to factory. I'll keep you posted.

Maybe someday, it will look like my date coded 751 3810 currently on the car:

    Jerry -

I've seen those thick float adjusting nuts (vs. the thin Holley nuts) in some off-brand aftermarket needle-and-seat kits.

Are you going to use the non external float adjusting bowls?

Those float adjusters look like the adjusters on a "Champion Parts Rebuilders" rebuilt Holley I have. Dale

          Brian,

I have the bowls from a service dated 3810. That service dated holley will then become a driver 3810 with the bowls off this one.

I also have an original throttle plate stamped 3810 which will go on this one.

Regards, will see you in Florida in January.
