So, one of the things I got dinged for in my first chapter judging was that the judge couldn't see the part number on the coil. I knew it was the original coil for the car, but he was right. The number wasn't visible.
It was exactly behind the bracket.
So, I tried pulling it up so it was visible, but now I can't get the ignition shielding down onto the car, nor close the hood without hitting the coil.
So, I tried pushing the coil all the way down in the bracket, and you can't see the number.
So, I thought I'd just take a picture of it, and when the judges say they can't see the number, I'd just show the picture.
Do you think that will work? IF NOT, what the heck should I do?
By the way, here is a picture of my coil pulled up so you can see the correct 207 part number for 67 327/350 TI.

. In the '65 TIM&JG, at least it says "responsibility of the owner to position the DISTRIBUTOR ID band in a manner that facilitates judging". No such comment given for the ignition coils, and one of the reasons is that the wiring might have to be contorted beyond a safe alignment, as mentioned by Bob R.
