I've read almost every page of the new 56-57 TIM-JG, and one of the things I noticed is that Ken Kayser is one of the contributors to the latest version.
Now, since Ken has published one of the FINEST books ever, on the early history and development on Rochester Fuel Injection, and how it got here from there, he has provided virtually conclusive documentation that the 1957 Airbox 283hp/283 option, commonly known for MANY years to all as RPO579E is WRONG! And that it SHOULD have been RPO579D!
Since the fanitical NCRS organization has always been such sticklers for accuracy and perfection, I ask again to the powers to be, "Is RPO579E going to be changed to RPO579D"?
